Glad Dr Drake moved in to the neighborhood. I needed to get my dog in to the vet in a hurry. Issue with one eye. They got me in quickly and I could tell she knew her business right away. Reasonable prices, smiling faces... both Charlie and I were made to feel at home right away.
We have a little bit of a high maintenance fellow with his allergies, and they have done an amazing job with him! Always easy to get in for appointments. And have always received excellent care!
I found this vet practice purely by accident and luck. Google gave me their info when I was searching for an internal medicine vet. Dr. Drake called me and we discussed my 3 year old GSD's hind leg concerns. She told me she herself wasn't familiar with his condition but assured me that with the help of diagnostic tools and an exam from a specialist she called in, that we would obtain a diagnosis and a prognosis.
From the moment I spoke to her, I felt a sense of comfort and trust. She reached out personally, several times before my appointment and made sure I had clear instructions and expectations for our exam.
Dr. Drake and her staff treated my dog and I with kindness, compassion and professionalism. By the time we left, I felt like I'd been hanging out with old friends.
As a long time pet owner who's dealt with many local vet practices, I can say that I would highly recommend East Plains Vet Care. My dog is big, doesn't appreciate being messed with and shrieks like a Banshee when he doesn't want to be somewhere. The staff took it all in stride and treated him with patience, humor and gentleness. We recieved excellent care.

After going through 3 other vets, we found our FUR-ever vet! The whole staff was super lovey- dovey on our dog! Their pricing is transparent and fair- no over and surprise charges which urged us to look on from other vets. Warm fuzziness for East Plains!
