I am incredibly grateful to Dr. Kimberly Drake and the entire staff at East Plains Veterinary Care Clinic for the compassion and kindness they showed our family's Bulldog, Olive, this morning.
Having to say goodbye to a pet is one of the hardest experiences, but Dr. Drake and her team made an incredibly difficult morning as peaceful and dignified as possible. They were compassionate, patient, gentle, and genuinely caring throughout the entire process. They also went above and beyond in showing kindness to my daughter, who was away at college and watching remotely so she could be part of Olive’s final moments. That meant more to me than they probably realize.
They were also very reasonably priced, which was especially appreciated during such an emotional time. It is clear that their priority is caring for animals and their humans —not simply the financial aspect of veterinary care.
Thank you, Dr. Drake and the entire East Plains Veterinary Care Clinic team, for treating Olive with such dignity and for treating us with so much compassion. We will always be grateful for the care you gave her during her final moments. ❤️🐾

Glad Dr Drake moved in to the neighborhood. I needed to get my dog in to the vet in a hurry. Issue with one eye. They got me in quickly and I could tell she knew her business right away. Reasonable prices, smiling faces... both Charlie and I were made to feel at home right away.
We have a little bit of a high maintenance fellow with his allergies, and they have done an amazing job with him! Always easy to get in for appointments. And have always received excellent care!
I found this vet practice purely by accident and luck. Google gave me their info when I was searching for an internal medicine vet. Dr. Drake called me and we discussed my 3 year old GSD's hind leg concerns. She told me she herself wasn't familiar with his condition but assured me that with the help of diagnostic tools and an exam from a specialist she called in, that we would obtain a diagnosis and a prognosis.
From the moment I spoke to her, I felt a sense of comfort and trust. She reached out personally, several times before my appointment and made sure I had clear instructions and expectations for our exam.

As a long time pet owner who's dealt with many local vet practices, I can say that I would highly recommend East Plains Vet Care. My dog is big, doesn't appreciate being messed with and shrieks like a Banshee when he doesn't want to be somewhere. The staff took it all in stride and treated him with patience, humor and gentleness. We recieved excellent care.

Dr. Drake was amazing with my cats and took the time to address all of my concerns. She was very thorough, shared a lot of helpful information, and made sure all of my questions were answered.
